Round and Round the Old Oak Tree

When we hold hands and circle around the rug while singing, we imagine that we are going around students who are pretending to be a tree.  When the circle stops, we raise our hands and the “trees” can go through all of the “windows” that our hands make.  It’s a classic Kindergarten song-game.

We sang this song together as we folded and cut paper, and surprise!  The papers looked just like our friends holding hands.

See if you can point and sing the song that is on the back of this scissors-and-glue project.

Maybe your student can teach you!
